Metalworking and CNC Machine Tool Show (MWCS) Shanghai 24. – 28. September 2024 | International trade fair for metalworking

December 8, 2023

The Metalworking and CNC Machine Tool Show (MWCS) is one of the leading trade fairs for metal processing and CNC machine tools in China and is part of the China International Industry Fair (CIIF). It takes place annually in the autumn and is organised by Hannover Milano Fairs Shanghai Ltd., a joint venture between Deutsche Messe AG and Fiera Milano Group. The MWCS serves as a platform for professionals from the metal processing industry to showcase and discover the latest technologies, products, and services in the field of metal processing and CNC machine tools. The exhibition includes CNC machines, metal processing equipment, tools, industrial robots, automation technology, and many other products from related fields.

The significance of the MWCS lies in its role as a major meeting point for professionals from around the world and as a platform for companies to present their latest developments and innovations to a wide audience of experts. As part of CIIF, MWCS benefits from a total of nine concurrent specialised exhibitions, including the Shanghai Industry Automation Show (IAS), Shanghai Energy Show (EIAS), Shanghai Information & Communication Technology Show (ICTS), Energy Show (ES), New Energy Auto Show (NEAS), Robotics Show (RS), Scientific & Technological Innovation Show (STIS), and New Material Industry Show (NMIS). These parallel events create significant synergies across various industries and promote business development. The venue for MWCS and other CIIF exhibitions is the National Exhibition and Convention Center (NECC) in Shanghai, the world’s largest exhibition centre. The NECC is located in the western part of Shanghai and is easily accessible. Every year, MWCS attracts thousands of visitors, including professionals from the metal processing industry, buyers, investors, and government representatives. The fair provides an excellent opportunity to stay informed about the latest trends and developments in the industry, establish business connections, and explore new products and services. Through its integration into CIIF, MWCS benefits from the synergies created by a series of concurrent events all taking place at the same time and location, offering a comprehensive overview of the latest industry advancements.

The Metalworking and CNC Machine Tool Show (MWCS) will take place on 5 days from Tuesday, 24. September to Saturday, 28. September 2024 in Shanghai.
