The HOFEX is an international trade fair for food, beverages, hotels, restaurants, catering, and equipment in Asia, taking place biennially at the renowned Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. The Centre, which opened in 1988, is picturesquely located at Victoria Harbour and features state-of-the-art exhibition and conference facilities. HOFEX stands for “Hotel, Food, and Restaurant Expo.” The organizer of the fair is Informa Markets, a global leader in trade fairs and B2B events with a portfolio of over 500 events in 40 countries. The fair covers a wide range of industries, including food and beverages, kitchen appliances, hotel and restaurant equipment, as well as catering and hospitality services.
HOFEX places particular emphasis on sustainable and innovative solutions in the industry and presents an extensive program of lectures, workshops, and networking events. Highlights include the “Asian Catering Equipment Awards” and the “Hofex Culinary Classics,” where renowned chefs present their creations and compete for awards. Overall, HOFEX is characterized by its impressive size and diversity, attracting numerous hoteliers, traders, investors, consultants, and buyers. In addition to the fair, a conference with a rich information offering also takes place. HOFEX provides participants with an excellent opportunity to discover the latest trends and technologies, establish business relationships, and expand their industry knowledge.
