BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) is the National Standard Body of India for the harmonious development of the activities of standardization, marking and quality certification of consumer products.
WPC

WPC (Wireless Planning & Coordination)
(WPC) Wing of the Ministry of Communications, created in 1952, is the National Radio Regulatory Authority responsible for Frequency Spectrum Management, including licensing and caters for the needs of all wireless users (Government and Private) in the country.
WPC Office issues WPC (ETA) Equipment Type Approval License for IT and Electronic products while fulfilling the needs of the wireless technology consumers. Wireless and Bluetooth IT and Electronic products that operate on unlicensed frequency bands and meet human safety requirements can only be sold in the Indian market with WPC approval.

ISI
MARK
Indian Standards Institution (ISI)
The ISI mark is a standards-compliance mark for industrial products in India since 1955. The mark certifies that a product conforms to an Indian standard (IS) developed by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), the national standards body of India.[1] The ISI mark is by far the most recognised certification mark in the Indian subcontinent. The ISI is an initialism of Indian Standards Institution, the name of the national standards body until 1 January 1987, when it was renamed to the Bureau of Indian Standards. The ISI mark is mandatory for certain products to be sold in India, such as many of the electrical appliances like switches, electric motors, wiring cables, heaters, kitchen appliances, etc., and other products like Portland cement, LPG valves, LPG cylinders, automotive tyres, etc. In the case of most other products, ISI marks are optional.
TEC
(Telecommunication Engineering Centre)
TEC Registration / Certification is given to a Telecom Product or network which will be interfaced with Indian Telecom network. Any Original Equipment Manufacturer and Importer, who wants to sell, import, or use any telecom equipment in India, has to obtain TEC Certificate from the Telecommunication Engineering Centre (TEC India), Department of Telecommunications, Ministry of Communications, Government of India.
The Indian Telegraph (Amendment) Rules, 2017, provides that every telecom equipment must undergo prior mandatory testing and certification. The detailed procedure for Mandatory Testing and Certification of Telecom Equipments (MTCTE) under these rules has been notified. The testing is to be carried out by Indian Accredited Labs {which have been designated as CAB (Conformance Assessment Body) by TEC} and based upon their test reports, the certificate shall be issued by TEC.
CDSCO
The Central Drug Standard Control Organisation (CDSCO)
The Central Drug Standard Control Organisation (CDSCO) is responsible for the so-called CDSCO registration, or CDSCO approval, of all drugs and medical devices in India. All cosmetic products that are imported for sale in India need to be registered with the licensing authority as defined under Rule 21 of Drugs & Cosmetic Rules, 1945.
No cosmetic shall be imported into India unless the product is registered under the rules by the licensing authority appointed by the Central Government under rule 21 or by any person to whom such powers may be delegated under rule 22
The regulations in India require that foreign manufacturers have an Authorized Representative in India who will act on their behalf as the point of contact for inspection authorities, assist in device approvals and registration process and vigilance/adverse event.
