AigeFood, officially the Shanghai International Catering and Ingredients Exhibition, is a renowned trade fair in the gastronomy and food industry, serving as a significant catalyst for the growth of the catering ingredients industry. The name, AigeFood, is an acronym representing the “Annual International Gastronomy and Food Exhibition.” This exhibition is held annually, typically in August, at the Shanghai New International Expo Center, organized by Shanghai Sinoexpo Informa Markets International Exhibition Co., Ltd., a joint venture specializing in the orchestration of large-scale trade fairs and exhibitions. The exhibition covers a broad spectrum of themes, including meat, restaurant franchises, frozen food, food equipment, spices, hot-pot ingredients, as well as water and seafood products. This diverse array of products and services forges connections between manufacturers, suppliers, retailers, and end consumers.

Through its influence, AigeFood shapes the culinary culture and industry of Shanghai and significantly contributes to the promotion and innovation within the Chinese catering and ingredients industry. Exhibitors at the exhibition hail from various sectors such as the food industry, hotel and catering industry, retail, and gastronomy.
