Waterexpo

The Waterexpo, in conjunction with the International High-end Drinking Water Industry Expo (IWE), are international trade fairs dedicated to water treatment in China. They are held annually at the China Import & Export Fair Pazhou Complex in Guangzhou, organized by Guangzhou Yi Fan Exhibition Co., Ltd, a leading event organizer in China. In China, water supply and treatment are of paramount importance. With a population exceeding 1.4 billion, providing clean drinking water is a substantial challenge.

Despite its plentiful water resources, China is per capita, one of the world’s most water-scarce nations, owing to uneven distribution across the country and quality issues in many areas. Water treatment technologies play a pivotal role in addressing these challenges, helping to purify contaminated water and transform it into safe, drinkable water. The trade fair highlights various types of drinking water products, including natural mineral water, carbonated water, glacier water, and distilled and medicinal water. In addition to these, innovative water treatment devices such as ionizers and filtration systems are also showcased. A standout feature of the fair is the international tasting competition, presenting a selection of both international and Chinese brands. The Waterexpo is held in the Import and Export Fair Complex, also known as the Canton Fair Complex, which is the largest and most modern of its kind in all of Asia. It provides ample space for large-scale events, has extensive parking facilities, and is easily accessible by taxi, airport express bus, and metro. The Waterexpo has emerged as a crucial gathering point for professionals in the drinking water industry, offering a platform for exchange and discussion about the latest trends and innovations. Events like the Waterexpo play a significant role in raising awareness about these issues and fostering the exchange of technologies and ideas that contribute to enhancing water supply and treatment in China.
